Tasmania Red Caravel Day
The Remar team finished its ‘tour of duty’ on a high note in Launceston Tasmania. Red Caravels from both Marist Regional College Burnie, and St Patrick’s College Launceston came together for two days of fun, laughter, prayer and challenge.
I find it hard to explain the experience of Caravel Day. The way I see it is that all of the members involved in Caravel Day (EVERYONE!!), made me feel like Jesus was present along with his values of love, compassion, equality. A humble sense and a feeling of warmth was spread across everyone as they acted with these values. Caravel Day has not only made me grow as a person and build my knowledge and outlook on life, it has also allowed for a close Caravel. Caravel Day was an experience I will never forget.

Attending Red Caravel Day as a Blue Leader has developed my leadership skills. It was a challenge and a privilege to have the Red’s look up to us as role models. It was a good experience to attend this camp again, as a year has gone by and we have grown a lot since last year.

I have enjoyed Caravel Day immensely, the things I have learnt has changed my view on the way I see the world. I also have seen my group become closer, and I can only see us becoming better together. I really enjoyed the leaders they are a good role model; and a very good bunch of people to go by.

I thought that Caravel Day was an awesome experience. The Red Caravel are a really kind and accepting bunch of people so I found it easy just having a good time. Thanks for the experience.
