Red Caravel Days 2009
I learnt how I can better myself as a leader, and a captain. By sometimes listening to others. I learnt how something that seems so small to you can be so big to somebody else. I had a ball.
Aaron – St Patricks College, Launceston
Red Caravel Day has made me realize so many things, such as forming a community, Christian leadership, social justice and how we can fight it. Our group has become strong again, and this time we know the challenges we will have to face to keep it strong. Overall Red Caravel Day has really made me think and gain confidence.
Alex - Marist Regional College, Burnie
I have learnt so much about myself and the people in my group, I didn’t even know it was possible. Remar reminds me that my life is for me to enjoy, the way I want too and I am so grateful for that.
Tessa – Sacred Heart College, Adelaide
These days have been really beneficial to all of us. The core spokes of Remar – Ministry, Leadership, Faith and Community have taken on a whole new meaning. As we formed the Tasmanian Remar community we all became empowered to do ministry and help out the wider community. I personally now feel outraged at the entire world community after our social justice session and are now determined to make every difference I can to change poverty in all forms.
Julian – St Patricks College, Launceston
